Agreement with the University of Carthage (Tunisia)

The Department of Foreign Languages, Literatures and Modern Cultures of the University “G. d’Annunzio” of Chieti-Pescara has established a scientific collaboration with the University of Carthage (Tunisia), formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at promoting joint activities in the fields of teaching, research and academic training.

Located in the metropolitan area of Tunis, the University of Carthage is one of the leading universities in the country and plays an important role in the scientific and cultural landscape of the Mediterranean region. This partnershiprepresents a valuable opportunity to develop international academic collaboration between Europe and the Maghreb.

The agreement provides for the exchange of faculty members, researchers and students, the organization of joint scientific initiatives – such as seminars, workshops and international conferences – and the promotion of shared research projects in the fields of linguistics, literary and translation studies.Particular attention is given to Francophone studies and Mediterranean cultural contexts.

The partnership also promotes academic mobility and the circulation of knowledge and expertise between the two institutions, encouraging the development of international research networks and fostering intercultural dialogue between the academic communities involved.
